Early-access pricing

Start with a demo.

eddy is in early access. We host pilots on your data and agree a price before you start. We're working toward usage-based pricing.

We'll email you to find a time. Early access and pricing.

What affects the cost →

01 · Getting started

Bring a report you want to improve.

We'll show you eddy and discuss where your report gets slow, expensive or out of date. If it looks useful, the next step is a pilot with your own data.

See a demo

Walk through eddy with a founder. Talk about your report; you don't need to connect your data yet.

Agree the pilot

Decide what to test, who handles setup and what the pilot will cost before starting.

Try your data

Check your models, compare the results and measure how the report handles updates and customer traffic.

02 · Your budget

What does the report need to handle?

Tell us how much data you have, how often it changes and how customers use the report. Include busy periods and any history you need to keep. That helps us plan the pilot and its budget.

We can discuss workload limits and a spending ceiling. Published rates and free allowances are not available yet.

03 · What affects cost

Updates, queries and storage.

A report's cost depends on the work behind it. These are the parts we're considering for pricing.

Updates

Keeping results current

A changed record can affect one row or many. The SQL model determines how much work each change creates.

Queries

Serving your customers

Dashboards, apps and agents all query the data. We expect reads to be charged. The billing units and rates are not settled yet.

Storage

Keeping data and history

The results and history you keep need storage. How much depends on your data and reporting models.

04 · Pricing direction

We're working toward usage-based pricing.

We haven't settled the rates, billing units or allowances yet. For now, we agree each pilot's price directly with your team.

The machine costs in our benchmarks describe the test setup. They are not subscription prices.

05 · Questions

A few common questions.

What can we try today?

Book a founder-led demo. We also host pilots on your own data, with a plan and price agreed before you start.

Will reads be charged?

We expect reads to be charged. The billing units and rates are not settled yet.

Is there a free plan?

We haven't set a free allowance. Ask us about the current demo and pilot options.

Can we set a spending limit?

Yes, we can discuss a budget and workload limits when planning your pilot.

Will pricing be serverless?

Serverless pricing is a goal we're exploring. We're still working through the billing model and whether the economics support it.

Do we need to choose server sizes?

We host the early-access pilots and work through the setup with you. Self-serve plans are not available yet.
